uForage is a free community food map. It shows you what's growing near you right now: roadside stalls, backyard fruit trees with too much fruit, small growers, honey, eggs, and wild food you walk past every day without seeing. Search for what you actually want. Eggs, lemons, herbs, honey. Results are sorted by what's closest to you, with directions to get there. Got more than you can eat? List your surplus in under a minute. Someone nearby is already looking for it, and your excess goes to a…

What's new
Version 2.3.243 · 17 Sep 2026 · 22 days ago
Two things behind the scenes, and a smaller ask for support. PERMISSIONS • The camera and location prompts now always show Apple's own permission dialog first. Previously, in a couple of edge cases, tapping the button could send you to Settings before you had been asked at all. • If you have already said no and iOS won't ask again, the button now says "Open Settings" rather than pre-guessing your answer. ASKING FOR SUPPORT • uForage still occasionally asks whether you're able to support the app. It no longer appears the moment you open the app — it waits until you've actually found or viewed something, then asks when you're back on the map. • It won't ask more than once every couple of weeks, and never if you're already supporting us. WELCOME VIDEO • The video on the welcome screen has been replaced.
