Sonority configures your speakers in ways the standard controller app doesn’t allow — using only the local network connection on your home Wi-Fi. It does no audio processing of its own; all the sound comes from your real speakers. The configurations it creates are standard, supported speaker bondings — just ones the official app chooses not to expose. What's new
Version 0.7.0 · 21 Aug 2026 · 1 month ago
• Profiles now show which one your system is currently running, with an "Active" badge • Applying a profile is far more reliable: it waits for speakers that were just unbonded or bonded instead of giving up on them, and saved volume and audio settings now really do get restored • Profiles no longer save the same speaker twice (which made the apply fail); profiles already saved that way are repaired automatically • Creating a speaker group no longer reports a failure when the group was actually created • A Port or Connect can now be picked as your dedicated front speakers, the same way an Amp can — one box driving both front channels
