Go to your device's Settings > Accessibility > Read & Speak > Voices to download new options, and they will immediately become available in the app. • Personal Voice Support: After granting permission, any custom Personal Voices you have created will automatically appear under the name you assigned them. Yes, all your Personal Voices are fully supported! • Natural Speech Cadence: Fine-tuned the text-to-speech engine by normalizing the pause delays after commas and periods, resulting in a significantly more natural, conversational rhythm. • Failsafe Voice Fallback: If the operating system temporarily loses track of a voice asset or a specific identifier cannot be located, the speech engine now intercepts the error and seamlessly defaults to "Samantha" to ensure playback never fails silently. Note: We highly recommend using Enhanced/Premium Apple voices or your own Personal Voice for the best audio performance. Alternate Speech Rate Slider • In addition to the slider in Data & Settings, you can now visualize and adjust your current speech rate directly from the Voice Selector button. Favorite Voices • Your list of favorite voices is now automatically organized in alphabetical order for faster selection. UI, Input & Accessibility Enhancements • Universal Placeholder Clearing: The "Type text here..." text now reliably vanishes the moment you interact with the text box across all devices, whether you are tapping the screen, clicking on a Mac, or typing with a physical iPad keyboard. • SayIt Button Tooltip: Hovering a mouse or trackpad pointer over the main SayIt button will now reveal a native "Speak Phrase" tooltip to clarify the action on Mac and iPad. • Floating Pause Button Blur: A subtle frosted glass effect now sits directly behind the Pause button to help it stand out.
