A NEW PLAYER - Nova Stashy now has its own player, built on Apple's playback engine. - Scenes start faster. The original file plays directly when your device can handle it, and falls back to your server's conversion only when it cannot. - Markers from your server appear on the scrubber, with buttons to jump between them. - Drag the scrubber to see a preview picture of that moment. - Double-tap the left or right half to skip ten seconds. Press and hold to watch at double speed. - Choose a speed from 0.5x to 2x, loop a scene, and fill or fit the screen. - Playback Info shows what is playing, the format, picture size, bitrates and buffer. SUBTITLES AND CAPTIONS - Subtitle files on your server now appear in the player, and your chosen language is remembered. - Subtitles show in Picture in Picture and over AirPlay, and follow your Subtitles & Captioning style from Settings. - Downloaded scenes keep their subtitles for watching offline. LEAVING THE APP - Choose what happens when you leave the app mid-scene: keep playing in Picture in Picture, or pause. - With the app lock on, nothing plays until you unlock. WATCHING AND HISTORY - Resume where you left off, or start over, from the scene's artwork. - Plays and watch time now reach your server the way its own player records them. - Markers, subtitles and preview pictures are saved with a download.
