TopSecret blacks out anything sensitive in an image or PDF — then exports a flattened copy where the hidden data is genuinely gone, not just hidden behind a rectangle. Most "redaction" just draws a box on top. The text underneath is still there, still selectable, still recoverable. TopSecret rebuilds the pixels: the content under every bar is destroyed, so a redacted name, number, or face can't be selected, copied, or pulled back out of the exported file. What's new

Version 1.3.1 · 5 Oct 2026 · 13 days ago

Larger Text: the redaction tools now fit the biggest text sizes — titles and labels wrap instead of cutting off, icons no longer overlap them, and the zoom control stays on one line. VoiceOver now tells redactions apart: each one is named for what put it there — an Auto-Detect kind, or the Find & Redact term it matches. Each term's remove button is its own, named for the term. Also: “No matches” is easier to read, and the start screen says Choose rather than Drop.
