This update fixes a crash in the PDF reader on iPhone and iPad. Shelves -- Your shelves stay just the way you arranged them. Books stay where you put them, and deleting a sub-shelf leaves the rest of your shelves untouched. Reader -- Pick up right where you left off. Your reading position and bookmarks now open in the right place on iPhone, iPad and Mac, whatever the page layout. Reader -- Bookmarks you made while scrolling in version 1.0.38 show up on their page again. Reader -- Your notes are safe on Mac: pressing Esc while writing one no longer closes the panel and loses your text. Tags -- Duplicate tags now merge cleanly across all your devices, so every book keeps its tags. Comics -- Fixed comics that could stop turning pages after you switched back to the app or reopened your last book. PDF -- Fixed a crash when dragging the page slider on iPhone and iPad. Page turns in right-to-left PDFs now slide the right way. Import -- Smarter duplicate detection: books that only share a title, and other formats of books you already own, now import as expected. Import -- While iCloud is still downloading your library, import now tells you what it's waiting for instead of leaving you guessing. Sync -- Large libraries no longer freeze for a few seconds after launch, and the iCloud network banner clears as soon as sync has caught up. Calibre -- On Mac, books you send to e-readers like KOReader now arrive intact. Mac -- Importing large folders is now smooth and responsive. Stability -- Improved performance and reliability throughout the app.
