What's new
Version 8.9 · 14 Oct 2026 · 8 days ago
Experience smoother, faster AI voice transcription with our most responsive update yet. This release fixes background audio thread stalls to keep your app lightning-fast during recording and playback. Tapping record or play is now completely seamless, eliminating micro-stalls and UI lags by moving audio session setup off the main thread. You will enjoy a snappier, more fluid interface when starting recordings, playing back notes, or running background transcriptions, even during heavy multitasking. Under the hood, enhanced thread management ensures robust stability and optimal resource usage across all your devices. As always, thank you for using Talk Notes!
