NovaScale 1.8.0 Herdr Push Notifications Added push notifications for Herdr sessions, including work started on your computer. Choose notifications for work opened in NovaScale or for selected hosts. Remote Git Added Git repository browsing over SSH. Review branches, commits and diffs, stage or unstage files, and create commits on your remote host. CONNECTION JOURNAL Optionally record SSH Terminal, SFTP and Herdr connection starts with approximate locations. Location updates can continue in the background while enabled. History stays on this device, outside iCloud sync. Turn recording off, set auto-off or delete history at any time. LOCAL PROXY Let compatible apps on this device reach active-tailnet peers through a passwordless loopback SOCKS5 / HTTP CONNECT proxy. Enable it only when needed. Location permission is not required; background availability depends on iOS. Fish Shell Compatibility Improved support for hosts that use fish as their login shell. Monitoring, tmux, Remote Git and Herdr now handle app-generated SSH commands correctly on these hosts. Interactive terminals continue to use your chosen shell. Remote Codex Improved Codex host setup and image previews. Images take up less space in conversations and open in a full-screen preview. Updated compatibility with Codex CLI 0.164.0. Tailscale Updated to the latest Tailscale 1.98.x patch for more reliable connection recovery. SFTP & Editor Fixed symbolic-link handling and improved Markdown syntax highlighting. Terminal Fixes Improved terminal recovery, Kitty image rendering, and keyboard handling for Docker and Herdr on Mac in Designed for iPad mode.
